Whether you’re already registered to vote or not, attend this workshop to learn everything you need to know in preparation for the 2020 election. First, Teresa Sullivan and Jeanette Murdock of the Positive Women’s Network will give an overview of election logistics, deciding on a candidate, and knowing your rights as a voter. Then we’ll have a chance to try out the new voting machines right here at the Critical Path Learning Center!

Do you want help finding food on a budget? Rachel, a nutrition intern with FIGHT, will provide you with a list of locations around Philadelphia where you can pick up fresh foods for free. She will provide you with new ideas for healthy foods from convenience stores and grocery stores. After this education session, you will learn how to make a complete meal to maintain a lasting healthy lifestyle.

It’s American Heart Month! Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, causing 1 in 4 deaths. Fortunately, there are things you can do to prevent heart disease and keep your heart healthy. At this workshop led by Dr. Khadija Douglas of the Infinite Wellness health center, you will learn techniques for managing your cardiovascular health and practice using an app to track your heart health.
