Event Details Event Date Event Date: Monday, August 17, 2020 Event Time Event Time: 3:00 PM - to 4:30 PM Event Description Story is at the heart of every medical experience – just think about when you’ve had to wear a cast or a Band-Aid and everyone you meet wants to know: “What happened?” Telling our health stories can be therapeutic, and telling them through comics can help others who are going through something similar connect to the emotions involved in our stories. In this 6-week workshop series, you will learn how to tell your own health story in the format of a short original comic. This is a synchronous online workshop series, meeting every Tuesday from 3-4:30 p.m. via Zoom, starting August 18 and ending September 22. In this series, you will work towards creating a 5-page (minimum) personal health comic. You will receive a certificate at the end of this series if you attend at least 4 of the 6 sessions and complete your comic.
