The AIDS Library will be a heart and center of our HIV/AIDS community’s pursuit of information. We will be a dynamic and safe space for education and empowerment.

The AIDS Library Mission Statement

The mission of the AIDS Library is to improve access to health and support services, prevent HIV transmission, and continue to nurture life-long learning.

  • The AIDS Library provides people with HIV/AIDS in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area and beyond with information and support to make informed decisions about their physical, mental, and emotional well being.
  • The AIDS Library supports those affected by HIV/AIDS including caregivers, family members, partners, friends, community activists, and people most at-risk especially those who are or who have been incarcerated.
  • The AIDS Library serves staff of other AIDS Service Organizations, healthcare providers, case managers, legal professionals, and the wider social service community.
  • The AIDS Library is open to the general public, supports public programming, and makes resources available online to educate the community at-large.
